Per un'archeologia fenomenologica del sacro e del religioso = For a phenomenological archaeology of the sacred and the religious

Abstract

The article explores the phenomenology of religion as a reflection on religious experiences and their manifestation. Highlighting the work of Gerardus van der Leeuw, it emphasizes his balance between historical examination and phenomenological analysis, showcasing religious phenomena's paradossal nature – being simultaneously opaque and clear. Drawing on Husserl's methodologies, the study examines the inner dimensions of human experiences, suggesting a connection between phenomenological anthropology and religious studies, and stressing the importance of subjective interiority in understanding the universality and singularity of religious experiences.
