Author Guidelines

There is no APC or submission fee to publish a work in this journal.
The authors retain all copyrights.

Please, make sure of the removal of the author’s name from the anonymous copy of your paper.

Online submission is disabled. Please send your paper in two copies: one anonymous and the other signed to e-mail h-ermes@unisalento.it.

Your paper shall follow this order: 
Title Page; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Text; References.

The ARTICLE TITLE shall not exceed 15 words. (Using Times New Roman, Lowercase, bold with font size 12, justify).

• Abstract. The Abstract (in English) shall not exceed 300 words. The Abstract shall be described why and how the study was conducted, and what the results and conclusions are. (Using Times New Roman, Sentence case, Italic with font size 10, justify).

• Keywords. A minimum of 2 and maximum of 10 key words must be given at the end of the Abstract, allowing a two-line space. (Using Times New Roman, Sentence case, Italic with font size 12, justify).

PARAGRAPHS’ STYLE GUIDE

• Paragraph Title (Times New Roman 12, Sentence case, Italic with font size 12, justified). The body: Times New Roman, 12 pt, justified, no spaced.

• Acknowledgements: if necessary, a brief Acknowledgement Section may be included.

How to cite in the text:
All references included in the Reference list at the end of an article must be cited in the text of the article. For text citations please report in the text the page number by using the square brackets. The reference list has to be arranged in alphabetical order.

REFEREEING (double blind)

After submitting your paper as author following the platform-registration process of the magazine, the Editor will send to a competent anonymous Reviewer the anonymous copy of your paper, which will be then evaluated as: accepted, revised, rejected. The editor will notify applicants of the evaluation outcome.

The authors of an issue cannot act as reviewers of the same issue of the journal.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

1. The submission has not been previously published.
2. The submission file is in DOC or RTF format.
3. The text is 1 spaced and uses a 12-point font.
4. The submission includes an anonymous copy.

5. Please send your paper in two copies: one anonymous and the other signed to e-mail h-ermes@unisalento.it. The filename of the anonymous copy must contain "anonymous copy + title of the paper".
