La disciplina giuridica del rapporto tra società e ambiente naturale nel contesto romano
Abstract
This essay compares the actual normative attitude towards the environmental protection to the relationship of man with nature and the juridical implication on the Romans' experience. It is extremely interesting to notice that Romans' experience is characterized by a equal distribution of natural sources and an efficient exploitation but especially by a subjection - ruled by specific laws - of the environment (principle of the earth and of the waters) to the practical benefit of human life.
