Elżbieta Drążkiewicz received her PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Cambridge. She is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Sociology, Slovak Academy of Sciences, She is a Principal Investigator of the ERC CONSPIRATIONS project (starting in 2023) examining conflicts over conspiracy theories in Europe. She is also a PI in the CHASE project REDACT analysing how digitalisation shapes the form, content, and consequences of conspiracy theories and the PL on the APPV project PanTruth analysing conspiratorial milieu in the Visegrad countries. In addition to researching conflicts over truth, Dr Drążkiewicz studies global development, democratic participation and the world of NGOs. She is an author of ‘Institutionalised Dreams: the art of managing foreign aid’ (Begrhahahn, 2020).
