Henar Pascual is an associate professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Valladolid (Spain). She specialises in territorial logics of the industry in urban areas, in the geographic study of innovation strategies, networks of scientific and technological parks and in the creation of innovative environments and in the territorial effects of the deindustrialization processes and traditional industrial landscapes. Juan-Carlos Guerra is an associate professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Valladolid (Spain). He specializes in rural studies especially linked to the interpretation of forest areas in the Spanish rural world.
