Fabio Introini

Fabio Introini is Associate Professor of Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth of Milan. He works with the Department of Sociology and with the Osservatorio Giovani of Istituto “G. Toniolo” of Milan. He teaches Sociology, Qualitative Methodology, Sociology of Religion. At the theoretical level is produtction is dedicated to the study of social complexity, with particular reference to the thought of Edgar Morin and Bruno Latour. On this topic he has recently published the monography Un mondo aperto. Itinerari nella sociologia della complessità (Milan, FrancoAngeli, 2017). His research activity is mainly focused on the study of young people and new generations, with particular reference to media&communication, culture and religion.
Niccolò Morelli

Niccolò Morelli is Post-Doc Researcher in Sociology at Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth, Milan where is part of the Osservatorio Giovani Sud, a research lab on the Southern youth condition. He is also Adjunct Professor of General Sociology at Padua University. His main research interests are on forms of conviviality in urban contexts, generational inequalities and metropolitan urban studies. On forms of conviviality he has developed his Phd Thesis on Social Streets, and has published several articles in international journals as City & Community (2019): “Creating Urban Sociality in Middle-Class Neighborhoods in Milan and Bologna: A Study on the Social Streets Phenomenon". He has recently published an interview in the Italian Open Access Journal Sociologica (2020) with Robert J. Sampson on the main challenges for urban sociologists.
Cristina Pasqualini

Cristina Pasqualini is Researcher in Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of the Catholic University of the Sacred Hearth of Milan. She works with the Department of Sociology and with the Osservatorio Giovani of Istituto “G. Toniolo” of Milan. She teaches Qualitative Methodology and Sociology of collective behaviour. Her research activity is mainly focused on young people and new generations, participation processes and emerging practices in urban contexts. She is director of the Osservatorio sulle Social Street, which she founded in 2014. She is editor of the Rapporto sulle Social Street a Milano - Vicini e Connessi (Milan, Fondazione Feltrinelli, 2018). She is biographer of the French Philosopher and Sociologist Edgar Morin. In 2016, she wrote the paper “Habiter les villes-monde (Non/Virtuels/Nouveaux)Lieux et relations sociales” with the Anthropologist Marc Augè in the Journal Studi di Sociologia.
