Oscar Mazzoleni is a professor in political science at the University of Lausanne. His research interests are devoted on political parties, populism and regionalism. His works have been published in several peer-reviewed journals as European Politics and Society, Government and Opposition, Political Studies, Party Politics, Swiss Political Science Review, Nationalism and Ethnic Politics, Comparative European Politics, Contemporary Italian Politics and Populism amongst others. He’s co-editor of Political Populism. A Handbook (Nomos/Bloombury 2017, with R. Heinisch and C. Holz-Bacha), Understanding Populist Party Organisation. The Radical Right in Western Europe (Palgrave 2016, with R. Heinisch), and The People and the Nation. Populism and Ethno-Territorial Politics in Europe (Routledge 2019, with R. Heinisch and E. Massetti).
Gerrit Voerman

Gerrit Voerman is professor of Development and Functioning of the Dutch and European Party System at the University of Groningen, and director of the Documentation Centre Dutch Political Parties in this University. He has published extensively in (inter)national journals and edited volumes on Dutch political parties, especially on party history and identity; organization and membership; and candidate selection. Since 2008, he serves as editor of a series on the political parties in the Netherlands. With Paul Lucardie, he published Populisten in de Polder (Amsterdam: Boom, 2012). He is preparing a book on the Dutch Socialistische Partij as well as a book on the links between Dutch parties and their Europarties.
