Diego Giannone is Assistant Professor of Political Science at the University of Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” (formerly Second University of Naples). His main research interests focus on neoliberalism, measurement of democracy, global indicators and the transformation of the State. His recent publications include: “Neoliberalization by Evaluation: Explaining the Making of Neoliberal Evaluative State”, Partecipazione e Conflitto, 9(2), 2016: 495-516; “Measuring Freedom of Information: Issues and Opportunities from an Expert Survey”, International Journal of Communication, 10, 2016: 589-619 (with R.
