Focus and Scope
The Journal of InterDisciplinary Research Applied to Medicine (J-DReAM) is one of the editorial aims of DREAM (Interdisciplinary Laboratory of Applied Research in Medicine - University of Salento and the local health authority - ASL Lecce). DREAM is an interdisciplinary laboratory that includes different scientific areas such as biology, biotechnology, biomedicine as well as physics and statistics, computer engineering and biomaterials; it also involves juridical disciplines, political, social sciences and humanities. The purpose of DREAM is to translate the research activities of these scientific areas in clinical settings.
J-DREAM includes articles, essays, contributions, experiences and results of research applied to medicine, exclusively published in English and in peer review. These publications are characterized by the originality of the theme, the settings, the novelty and interest of research-based sources, critical and innovative methodologies as well as national or international scientific debates.

The Journal is published in two issues per year.
Publication Ethics
JDREAM takes the commitment to comply all possible measures against any publication malpractices and plagiarism.
All authors submitting their manuscripts to JDREAM for publication as original articles, short notes, reviews or invited papers, attest that they are based on authors’ contributions and have not been copied or plagiarized in whole or in part from other works. The authors should declare any actual or possible conflicts of interest with their work.
All the submitted papers considered relevant with respect to the themes and the objectives of JDREAM, will undergo two rounds of a fair double-blind peer-review process, in way to prevent any possible conflict of interests.
Any ethic violation should be reported to the Editor in Chief who will take the necessary actions.
