Author Guidelines

Author Guidelines

IdPS considers the following types of submissions:

Research Articles (7000-9000 words), which engage in theory-building or theory-testing.

Research Notes (5000 words max), featuring new empirical materials and methodological considerations, without necessarily engaging in theory-building.

Review Essays (5000 words max), that survey how a strand of literature is developing and which debates is feeding, also on the basis of recent publications.

Special Issues

Interdisciplinary Political Studies also invites prospective guest editors to submit special issues proposals.

Special Issue Proposals, which should include the following elements:

• A list of proposed papers (titles, authors, and abstracts).

• A curriculum vitae for each guest editor, and optionally for other contributors.

Originality

IdPS exclusively accepts original manuscripts, which have not been published elsewhere or currently under review by another publisher.
