Ebrei al servizio di sua maestà britannica: il NILI (1914-1918)
Abstract
Aaron Aaronsohn was a famous botanist who discovered the “wild wheat” and created the first Jewish agricultural experiment station in Palestine under Turkish rule in 1910. During the World War I, Aaronsohn and his sister Sarah founded a Jewish spy organization, known as Nili, to help the British in the battle for Palestine. Nili contributed to the Lord Allenby’s victory in Palestine.
