The context analysis of ecological status and anthropogenic pressures on twenty lagoons in the Central Adriatic Danubian and South-Eastern European area (CADSES area) was completed under the responsibility of HCMR and pilot studies were also completed under the responsibility of the Lecce University. GIS maps produced by context analysis carried out on WP1 are available on the TWReferenceNet E-centre: www.twreferencenet.com and a number of handbooks of biological elements descriptors of ecosystem health as well as guidelines monitoring will be available on the E-centre, representing a contribution to the implementation of Water Framework Directive of both Member States and Not Member States.
