Il primo libro di Iberia con il suo mondo sonoro variegato di incastri incarna l'ideale fenomenologico secondo cui la ricerca filosofica intorno all'Essere e al mondo non sarà mai risolta completamente, non fornirà mai risposte inappellabili e valide universalmente, perché il flusso vitale è in perenne trasformazione. L'uomo non è un elemento fisso, statico di cui la ricerca può fornire una spiegazione definitiva, e così Albéniz non crea una volta per tutte, non fornisce analisi della realtà, ma continuamente ri-crea attraverso le sue composizioni, senza giungere mai ad una completa e definita ricostruzione del mondo, dell'uomo, dell'Essere. É in continua evoluzione, in continua ricerca di ciò che sempre gli sfuggirà, lo trascenderà. In questo modo quello che ha trovato, le possibilità che ha creato, non le possiede ancora, è ancora da creare: la scoperta richiama altre ricerche.
