L'articolo presenta il Libro XV in traduzione italiana delle Idee per la filosofia della storia dell'umanità di Johann Gottfried Herder, preceduto da due paragrafi introduttivi che ne chiariscono la collocazione e il rilievo teorico. Il quindicesimo libro costituisce un passaggio centrale dell'opera, in quanto affronta in forma concentrata questioni quali il rapporto tra natura e storia, il problema della provvidenza e il senso del progresso umano, all'interno di una concezione immanentistica del divenire storico.

This article presents Book XV in Italian translation of Johann Gottfried Herder's Ideas for the Philosophy of the History of Humanity, preceded by two introductory sections outlining its position and theoretical relevance. Book XV represents a key moment in the work, as it addresses core issues such as the relation between nature and history, the problem of providence, and the meaning of historical progress within an immanent account of historical development.
